Greystone Data Capture is like Super Voicemail but better.
It can be used for simple voicemail and often is, but it comes into its own when used for applications such as brochure request lines and competition lines.
Data Capture is a network service available on a wide range of Non-Geographic Numbers NGNs but not all - so please contact our Customer Services Team if you require more information.
What it can do:
- The service provides callers with simple or structured information
- Cuts out the need for a live operator to answer the call
- Enables you, our customer to set up a series of questions, up to a maximum of twenty, for a caller to leave responses to
- The service is specifically designed to manage a large number of calls
- Calls can be handled very quickly
- Enable call recovery in a structured way
- Provide a bespoke way of handling the data
How it does it:
- Manages response - the maximum time that a response for any particular question can last for, can be adjusted, from a minimum of 5 seconds to 90 seconds.
- Cut off on silence - after the caller has answered a question the service will automatically proceed to the next question after 3 seconds of silence. This makes the service flow more naturally and smoothly and ensures that no DTMF is needed to terminate a particular question.

Transcription services are available on request from all messages left by callers using data capture.
This service can be used as a stand-alone service or can also be used as part of a customer’s bespoke Interactive Voice Response (IVR) service.
